Career Summary:

A systems engineer with a diverse skill set including machine design and building, troubleshooting, programming, and operator training. His wide-range of engineering skills and ability to work effectively with people of all skill levels make him an excellent addition to CDC ENTERPRISES INC.

Overview:

Russ started his career as a nuclear plant technician in the United States Navy, and has since added 15+ years of experience in the machine and process automation field, working with everything from CNC machining equipment, industrial process automation, circuit board design and repair, to pneumatic control systems, and custom machine design and programming. He is well experienced with machine vision, designing robust, simple solutions for complex inspection problems.

As a custom machine designer, Russ has worked with a large and varied number of PLC, HMI, and vision products. GE, AB, Keyence, Seimens, Omron, Total Control Products, CTC-Parker, Advantec, DVT-Cognex, Banner, and Automation Direct, among others.

Richard S. Pierce
Senior Software Engineer

Career Summary:

A software expert with extensive experience in the development of medical systems. Has developed numerous successful personal computer based medical software systems. In addition, has successfully developed numerous embedded software systems used in the control of microprocessor based electro-mechanical devices. Excellent engineering skills with an ability to deal effectively with people of all skill levels.

Overview:

Richard has 25+ years of experience in the computer engineering field, working with everything from the earliest embedded microprocessors to some of the largest mainframe computers in the world. He is fluent in many programming languages including C/C++, many variants of Basic, Fortran, Pascal, DBase, Macro languages, Assemblers of all varieties, and many more too obscure to list here.  In addition, Rich has had successful experience working with network languages and protocols such as HTML, ASP, PHP, HTTP.

Medical systems in which has been a key design figure include the Certamatic ® Recertification System, the TRAK-M ® Equipment Management and Tracking System, The Multitask Operating System For Use With Automated Compounders, and numerous electro-mechanical pharmacy based compounding devices.

Overview:

Chris has 20 years of sales and marketing experience with commodities, parts, hardware, software and services. He has developed sales and marketing campaigns, electronic inventory programs, designed warehouse layouts, delivery routes, set geographic territories, managed projects and overseen the daily operations of service corporations, distributorships, and construction companies. He has spent the last 5 years helping build CDC ENTERPRISES INC.
